Hi All,

Thank you again for signing up to be a part of the 2026 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals! Lincoln’s start screen is loading, and we can’t wait to level up with everyone! This is the fourth round of a weekly Monday bulletin for Solo Nationals competitors containing valuable information you should know. Expect one each Monday until Nationals.

Please take a few minutes each week to read through everything and by doing so you will be well prepared to have a week of fun at Solo Nationals! Let’s get started.

  • Individual Paddock Space Registration is Opening

Registration for Individual Paddock Spaces is set to open on Thursday, August 27 at 6pm Central. To request a paddock space, you and any co-drivers that you’re claiming must be registered for the event before being considered. A specific Paddock Space email will be published ahead of registration but go ahead and mark your calendar!

·         Have You Registered for Contingency?

Our contingency team is telling me that things are looking a little light on the registration side. Don’t forget that you have to register for Solo Nationals contingency SEPERATELY from National Tour registrations. National Tour sign-ups DO NOT carry over to this event.

Competitors must be registered prior to competing, and it is the competitor's responsibility to comply with contingency requirements. Please check the programs on https://www.scca.com/pages/solo-contingency for detailed program requirements, including decal placements and a link to the registration page.

The following companies are posting bronze level contingency programs for which you must register directly with the sponsoring companies:

Hoosier Racing Tire

Mazda North American Operations
Nissan Nismo

Toyota Racing Development

·         SPS & R&S Racing Services Available On Site

Fellow competitors and vendors SPS & R&S Racing will again be on site for the full week!

Open from roughly 7am until the work is done, your place in line is first-come, first-served, so stop on by for your tire changing and motorsports accessories needs!

  • Early Arrival

The Airpark has helped us secure an Early Arrival area for 2026, off of NW 38th & Air Park Rd. If you used the early arrival area last year, it is the same spot.

To access, please turn onto Air Park Rd and then left onto NW 36th St to then circle into the parking lot. Please DO NOT BLOCK the roll up door on the building.

As always, the area is first-come, first-served, but please be considerate of your fellow competitors and park in a way to maximize opportunity. If it is full, you will have to find another area, outside of the Airpark, in which to stage.

We have been given access to the boxed area and no more. Do not park outside of the area – violators will be towed. Do not block any streets or intersections.

And most importantly, be respectful of the businesses around you (and in the Airpark). They are still working while we are hanging out in our concrete beach.

·         Waivers & Wristbands

Don’t forget that you have the option to take care of your waiver ahead of the event! We highly encourage you to take advantage of this – then all you have to do is show the gate staff your credentials and you’re in! (If your SCCA membership card does not have your picture on the front, you will also need to show your driver’s license with your Annual Waiver designation.)

The silicone wristbands we’ve all grown to love will be back this year, and available at the gate. If you’re not a fan of those, the standard SCCA Tyvek band will also be available.

Links to the SCCA annual waiver instructions and the SpeedWaiver option can be found below.

Annual Waiver Instructions (including minor waiver information)

SpeedWaiver

If you are a competitor under the age of 19 (or have a competitor under the age of 19), please email Tracy Lewis at tlewis@scca.com so that we are aware and can help make sure the minor waiver is taken care of correctly ahead of the event. Remember, in Nebraska, the age of majority is 19, so don’t let that catch you unaware!

·         Worker Change On the Fly

We will again be doing worker changeover on the fly. You can (and should) read more about the process here. However, the gist of it is that after you check in for your work assignment you will not wait for the heat to end before heading to your station. You will instead proceed on out to your assignment, where you can shadow the workers until their heat is finished, learning any pertinent information about your coverage area. Prior heat workers will remain until the end of their heat before handing over the reins. During the brief downtime between heats, check your area to make sure you’re ready to begin.

  • Worker Descriptions

The Chief of Workers has put together a job description for all Solo Nationals worker assignments. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or new to National Solo events, we encourage everyone to read them over so that everyone is prepared and on the same page. You can refresh your memory here: https://www.scca.com/downloads/81221-206-solo-nationals-work-descriptions/download

·         Last Day to Register is August 31

That’s right, registration is still open, until Monday, August 31 at 3pm Central. So if you’ve got a friend who’s dealing with the Solo Nats FOMO right now, tell them to sign up already! The late entry fee is $325 and these entries are non-refundable.
